We revived the movie nights of Senior year, and incorporated some food into the mix. I’m pretty lucky to have so many great cooks as friends!!

The Raleigh contingent heads to Durham for one of our several weekly run-clubs, this one at Fullsteam.

Last weekend we headed down to Wilmington, NC to celebrate as our friends Brent and Casey got married. Mark, Chris, and I arrived Friday night, in time to catch up with the bridal party at the end of the rehearsal dinner in Carolina Beach. We headed out to the Fat Pelican, a beach bar with a giant walk-in cooler with a selection to rival that of Peace Street Market.

Saturday we spent time at Wrightsville beach, which included Brian and Mikey’s attempt to fly a kite:

The ceremony was on the beach at Ft. Fisher and luckily any predictions of bad weather proved false.

Before we could leave the ceremony to head to downtown Wilmington for the reception at the Front Street Brewery, we had to help extricate some cars from the sand!
